The RELIABILITY Conference

John presented a 3-hour workshop on “DELTA FORCE: Execution Excellence Best Practices” that explored the DELTA FORCE model and detailed how several leadership teams engaged cross-functional teams to ensure sustainable change through defining a vision through implementation best practice examples. The Workshop Kit shown below was used as tools for this presentation.

The Reliability Web's Solution 2.0 Virtual Conference
The Reliability Web’s Solution 2.0 Virtual Conference was held on August 9th from 1:00 to 2:00 PM. John presented “Asset Management Success Through Execution Excellence” which included an overview on his book “Why Execution Fails and What to Do About It” and the DELTA FORCE Model. He also introduced his new “ART of Executive Sponsorship” approach to successfully engaging senior leadership in helping create lasing change. Over 66 attendees participated in John’s event. Transportation Research Board Virtual Conference
The Transportation Research Board (TRB) held a Virtual Conference on August 10th from 1:30 to 3:30 PM on the topic of “Financially Responsible Procurement Processes for Airports”. As the Lead Researcher for the ACRP Research, John presented an overview of “Report 172: A Guidebook for Considering Life-Cycle Costs in Airport Asset Procurement”. Some 150 attendees participated. The ACI-NA Conference is a premier airport sector event being held between September 17 to 21st in Dallas Ft. Worth. As the Lead Researcher for the ACRP Research, John will present an overview of “Report 172: A Guidebook for Considering Life-Cycle Costs in Airport Asset Procurement”. International Maintenance Conference
The International Maintenance Conference (IMC) held its 32nd annual event at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point in Bonita Springs, FL on December 11-15. John co-presented on three (3) events as follows:
​
1) Along with Craig Edlund from Metropolitan Council Environmental Services (MCES), a 45-minute presentation was held on “Implementing the Uptime Elements: The ART of Executive Sponsorship” that detailed John’s newest success model and how MCES has leveraged its principles for initiating roll-out of the MCES Asset Management programs.
2) Along with Brian Buzard, a 45-minute presentation was held on “International Asset Management Benchmarking: The Central Arizona Project (CAP) Case Study” that detailed the Asset Management Customer Value process-benchmarking methodology and CAP’s results over their “excellence” journey which has led to an international award. Congratulations CAP!
3) A Full-day workshop on “The Asset Condition Monitoring Project Manager’s Guide” that explored the recently released guide on how to successfully execute an ACM program that will “stick”. Along with an expert panel (Dave Reiber, Reliabilityweb.com; Jack Nicholas, Author; and John Shinn & Eric Stevens, MSDGC), John will present on his DELTA FORCE Model and detail how this model can help organizations ensure successful implementation of such programs to obtain the ROI opportunity presented.
